Our Therapies
You can find relief from anxiety with neurofeedback treatment and bio-resonance therapy. They are very powerful and successful treatments for anxiety and related conditions. Most of our clients notice a difference very quickly; and over the course of treatment almost all report substantial reduction or total elimination of their symptoms. Both therapies help activate your body’s own healing mechanisms but in different ways. Neurofeedback focuses on your brain and nervous system; bio-resonance uses frequency to help your body re-balance and heal.
Anxiety and Common Treatment Options
Anxiety is a common symptom across many conditions from generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) to depression. But related conditions also include obsessive-compulsive disorder; ADHD; Autism; trauma; PTSD; eating disorders; and phobias. The manifestation of anxiety affects our feelings, behaviours and physical health. It can show up as worry, and irritability, headaches or migraines. But also insomnia, heart palpitations, pain in muscles or allergies. An anxious person may avoid social situations, develop poor relationships or addictions amongst other problems. The most common psychotherapy treatment for anxiety is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which aims to alter thoughts and behaviours contributing to anxiety. Pharmaceuticals are also used to treat anxiety, and although both options are beneficial, CBT isn’t always long lasting and many people prefer to avoid medication. Neurofeedback and Bio-resonance technologies offer an alternative and are largely fast-acting and without side-effects.
Causes of Anxiety
Many people, especially 16-24yr olds are diagnosed with anxiety every week. Some sources say over 1million people in Scotland are affected by anxiety. Adverse childhood events and early trauma are often at the root, but anxiety can also develop in adulthood after accident, injury, illness, financial loss or bereavement. Our combined therapies tackle the root causes, whilst reducing your symptoms and making it easier for you to make whatever changes will speed up your recovery.
