Suzanne Breen

Hello, I’m a qualified and experienced Neurofeedback, Biofeedback and Play Therapist.  For the past 20 years I’ve been working with children and families as a primary school teacher and more recently in private therapy practice.  I specialised in child development through Play Therapy and since then have expanded my therapy work and training to include adults and the use of the amazing Neurofeedback and Bio-resonance technologies.   They’ve been game-changers and helped me widen my practice to work more holistically in this interesting field of mental health and physical wellbeing.  I’ve seen the powerful, positive impact these therapies have on trauma affect, such as anxiety and depression, insomnia or aggression, as well as physical illness and injury.

As a primary school teacher and mother I was keenly aware of the various life events which impact children and consequently I focussed my work on childhood trauma and common conditions such as ADHD and Autism.  Sadly these conditions are on the increase and I’m interested in the added roles which lifestyle, social media, family stress, medication or nutrition have on many children.  I’m happy to be able to work with neurofeedback and bio-resonance therapies to alleviate some or all of the symptoms.

I’ve been working successfully with clients who have addictions, sleep problems, relationship difficulties, pain, health concerns and stroke, as well as PTSD, ADHD and autism.

 Qualifications

I have a psychology degree from the Open University, professional qualifications in Neurofeedback Therapy (BeeMedic), Bio-resonance Therapy (L.I.F.E System) and Play Therapy.  I am also a certified Deep Brain Reorienting therapist and I can integrate this trauma therapy in the later stages of Neurofeedback treatment.   Additional training includes Synchrony and Alpha-Theta.  These are neurofeedback protocols which help access the unconscious and aid the processing of trauma affect and otherwise inaccessible experiences.  I also hold certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy and Nutrition, all of which helps me to work holistically with my clients.

I believe it’s important to have an open, friendly and positive approach to health and wellness, in keeping with the ideas and perspective of Dr Joe Dispenza.   He says you can reshape your brain to feel and think differently if you stress the importance of intention and actively change your interaction with your world.   Therefore my approach is to encourage belief that change can happen and that you will attain your mental health and physical wellbeing goals.
